Refit Project Support
We carry out the supervision of projects related to refit and repair works of ships, sailboats and motor yachts with our experienced surveyors. We manage projects related to structural modifications, lengthening processes, osmosis in GRP boats, delamination problems, sheet metal replacement processes of metal boats, restoration related to superstructure, overholing of machinery equipment and maintenance and repair processes including but not limited to these on behalf of the ship or boat owner.
Throughout the process, we inspect the main contractor and the relevant subcontractors on the boat and in the workshops in the areas they are responsible for, and ensure that all repair and refit operations are carried out in accordance with the rules or standards that the ship or boat is subject to. We conduct tests and sailing experiences regarding the ship or boat performance, and contribute to the elimination of any deficiencies or faults as a result of detailed examination.
